Move the business without stopping the business.

An office move is not a trucking problem — it's a business-continuity problem with a truck in the middle of it. Prism plans corporate relocations across Dallas–Fort Worth and carries them out with our own crews, so your people walk out of one office on Friday and get to work in the next one on Monday.

What We Run

Planned by us. Carried out by us.

Most moves split the thinking from the lifting. We do both — the planning, the sequencing, and the crews on move weekend — so nothing falls between them.

Master move plan & sequencing — every team, floor, and system in the right order.
Packing & labeling — equipment, files, and assets packed and tagged to the destination floor plan.
The move itself — our crews, after-hours or phased, sequenced so the business never stops.
Furniture installation — workstations and systems furniture delivered, assembled, and placed to plan.
IT disconnect & reconnect — workstations, peripherals, and AV back up before the first employee arrives.
Asset tracking & storage — every item inventoried before, during, and after, with short-term storage when the timing gaps.
FF&E procurement — new furniture and equipment specified, ordered, and standing on schedule.
Employee communications — everyone knows what to pack, when, and where they sit Monday.
Origin-space handoff — the space you leave flows straight into our decommissioning practice.

Why Prism, Not Just Movers

The truck is the easy part

Business Continuity

Downtime is the real cost

The moving invoice is the smallest number in a relocation. The real cost is every hour your team can't work. We design the entire project around zero lost workdays — and schedule the move so Monday morning is just Monday morning.

One Accountable Partner

The move connects to everything

A relocation usually means a build-out on one end and a lease surrender on the other. Because we run all three, nothing falls in the gaps between the vendors — and you make one phone call, not nine.

Relocation Questions

Asked before every move

How far in advance should we plan an office move?

For most offices, 12 weeks of structured planning is the comfortable minimum; large or multi-floor moves want six months. If your timeline is shorter than that, call us anyway — compressed moves are exactly when professional sequencing matters most.

Do you do the physical move?

Yes. Packing, labeling, moving, furniture installation, and IT disconnect and reconnect are delivered by crews we run — managed by the same team that planned the move. For very large or multi-city moves we add vetted partners and hold them to the same scope and schedule.

Can you handle the IT side?

Our crews disconnect and reconnect workstations, peripherals, and AV. Your IT team or MSP keeps ownership of the network and systems; we build the cutover into the master schedule, sequence the dependencies, and make sure the network is live before the furniture arrives — not after.

What happens to the office we're leaving?

That's a lease-surrender obligation with your deposit attached. Our decommissioning practice handles it as part of the same engagement — one project, one partner, both ends covered.

A move on the calendar?

The earlier we see the timeline, the smoother it runs. Tell us the date and we'll tell you what has to happen between now and then.

Plan a Move
FAQ

Common questions

How far in advance should we plan an office relocation?

For a mid-size office, start six to twelve months before the move date; large or multi-floor moves need more. The long-lead items - IT and network cutover, furniture procurement, and lease timing - are what set the clock, not the moving trucks.

How do you keep the business running during the move?

The move is planned around your business hours - typically a phased weekend cutover with IT switched over, tested, and verified before employees arrive Monday morning. The runbook covers who moves when, what gets tested, and what the fallback is.

Do you do the move yourselves?

Yes - packing, moving, furniture installation, and IT disconnect and reconnect are delivered by crews we run, led by the same team that planned the move. For very large or multi-city moves we add vetted partners and hold them to the same standard.

What is included in relocation management?

Everything between the decision and the settled-in office: the master schedule, IT and telecom cutover, furniture decisions, vendor procurement and supervision, employee communications, building and security coordination on both ends, and the punch list after the move.

What happens to the old office?

That is the other half of the project - the lease-end. We manage decommissioning, restoration, and surrender as part of the same engagement, which is exactly why a single accountable partner across the lifecycle matters. See our Decommissioning page.
